She Took The Risk

*She took a risk and believed God loves her even though the enemy of her soul kept reminding her that she was nothing. She chose to believe in something that everything within her historical memory and life told her was impossible.

**I would love to tell you that each time I choose to take a risk and trust God that everything is well. That would be a lie and you have been lied to and far too many times. I would love to tell you the memories won't feel current when you take this risk sis, but that would be a lie also. I will tell you that it is worth the risk. #RiskItAll

*I take a risk daily to exchange my insecurities for the image that God shows me in a flash. Who me God? Can I be the woman You show me? Can I be the woman who is standing on the stage of her own life and see the boldness and courage of a lion?

I will take the risk and believe You yet again. #HeartofALion

*I would love to tell you that others will believe in you when you risk giving up the old understandings, the old ways of doing things and living life, but that would be another lie and I won't do that to you. I would love to tell you that you will believe you are doing the right thing and you will believe in yourself daily. That would be the biggest lie. Yet, I will tell you the risk to let go and keep moving forward is so worth it. God has you girl even when those closest to you deny you can be anything other than who they remember you to be. #SometimesYouMustWalkAlone

*She took a risk to walk on the water of God's Word to take a risk on herself. They "betted" against her. They said she is bitter, broken, abused, trifling, promiscuous, hateful, less than, a waste and so much more. Sis, God didn't bet on you like you are in a card game, He took time to make you with His powerful hands. He created places inside you that when you needed a place to hide, He would be there. He created weakness within you that when you felt you were at your lowest, you could find Him there when no one else could get you off the ground. He said, "I Got You Baby Girl."Will you take a chance on YOU?
Will you take a RISK and allow God to Heal the Reflection You see in the mirror?

I took a RISK. I Take a RISK daily...

I'm willing to believe that if God sees all I have endured and continues to heal even the most broken places of me so I can stand on my stage of life, I can RISK choosing me.  If He saw all my many mistakes and lack of trust in Myself and Him to be the LION He created me to be and He still CHOSE me, I can RISK CHOOSING ME.
#CHOOSEYOUSIS

Dear God,

I have always waited for others to choose me in order to feel I wasn't invisible, that I mattered and more. I accept now that it is more valuable to accept that You have chosen and do choose me.  I also accept and embrace that I must choose myself and be willing to give to myself what I have waited and needed from others. I teach others to see me in how I give grace, forgiveness, love, and acceptance to me. I am grateful for this healing & breakthrough in my life.

Signed, The Risk Taker
