Today I have the pleasure of speaking to Mrs. Monique Payne. She is the author, of "The Secret Cry" her 2019 freshman book detailing her struggle with rejection. Monique Payne is also a motivational speaker whose passion is transparency while sharing her testimony of overcoming depression, suicide, domestic violence, and drug addiction to women who may share a similar story. She is the owner of Hey Queen LLC. and host of Hey Queen Podcast where she is focused on sharing her story with anyone who desires to hear about the power of God's grace and transformation power.

How was not healing your heart showing up in your personal life/business/relationships?

It caused me to not trust anyone including myself.
I held unforgiveness, bitterness in my heart that made it hard to function in life.

How has your life changed by dealing with the hurt and releasing it?

I was able to restore relationships that suffered due to my bitterness. I was able to get to know myself and uncover other places in me that needed healing, and also help others who are dealing with, the same heart issues I had and is still overcoming
